For Peat's Sake: 15 Of Scotland's Finest Peated Whiskies

Ah, the round-up article, also known as the listicle. The bane of many a writer’s existence. But people seem to read them, they keep writer folk busy, and personally speaking, they’re a whole lot of fun to write. I mean, who doesn’t love making lists and then explaining them in geeky detail? The downside is that you can’t include everything (unless it’s a complete list, of course) and readers wind up complaining either about unworthy inclusions, more deserving exclusions, or both. I definitely got a few quibbles about what got left out and what should have been left out. And I get it — owing to space, I had to leave out some fantastic peated malts (next time, Ledaig, I promise!). But I stand by all 15 whiskies included herein, and were you to taste them all, I hope you’d agree, no matter how grudgingly. Check out the full article at Robb Report.
