Rye From Poland: It Ain't Just For Vodka

How do you say “slainte” in Polish? (Photo by me)

With my fledgling Whisk(e)y Of The Week column at Forbes, I’m trying to find lots of interesting whiskies from all over the world to write about, and I’m also trying to get a lot of clicks on said writing. Sometimes I succeed — my review of Royal Ranthambore Indian whisky a few weeks ago was by far the most read thing I’ve written for Forbes. And sometimes I fail — the one I wrote immediately following, about the Bardstown bourbon finished in Foursquare rum casks, was one of my least read Forbes articles. Why is this? I have absolutely no idea, being an SEO ignoramus and more of a bourbon fan than an Indian whisky enthusiast.

I also have no idea how many people will want to read about a rye whisky from Poland. But whether it gets a hundred clicks or a million, this is a terrific rye, aged to perfection in a trio of casks that gives it a deliciously distinctive flavor. And it’s less than $100. AND it’s from a distillery that’s currently mothballed. I mean, what’s not to love? Read all about it, and the cool cat who sourced and blended it as well, in my latest for… you guessed it, Forbes! You want the link, you say? -> HERE <- it is!
