Three Distilleries, Three Bottled-In-Bond Whiskeys, Three Ways To Say "Mmmmm"

There’s something I just love about bottled-in-bond spirits. Maybe it’s the interesting history of the category, which dates back to 1897. Maybe it’s the fact that a well-made spirit following the B-in-B guidelines generally tastes pretty fantastic. Maybe it’s the fact that I seem to to write about it a lot, so I associate the category with seeing my byline and paychecks and keeping out of mischief because I’m too busy writing. Maybe it’s all of the above. But when I get a bottle that says “bottled-in-bond” on it, my pulse quickens just a wee bit. It quickened thrice over when I received these three in the mail — all at very different price points, with very different age statements, aimed at different types of consumers. And all pretty terrific, as you will read in my latest for Robb Report. Hop on over and check it out!
