Celebrity Spokesman Is My Name, Water & Gin Are My Game
I’ve fielded a lot of requests from Robb Report over the years, most of them involving round-up articles about various brown spirits or requests to write sponsored content for some insanely expensive bottle of something-or-other. And I’m always happy to oblige. But never did I ever think I’d be quoted as an expert about… water. I mean, I certainly drink plenty of the stuff, especially when I’m boozing it up — hydration helps keep those pesky hangovers at bay, you know. But Saratoga Spring Water decided that’s enough to get me to pontificate about why their water, still or sparkling, is the one to drink when you’re imbibing. I actually love Saratoga, and am always delighted when its signature blue bottle shows up at a tasting or when I’m out at a bar. So I was happy to be quoted for the [sponsored content] article, and to get paid for it as well. Does this make me a celebrity spokesman? I’m running with it. Check out the article -> HERE <-.
And while we’re on the topic… I also shilled for Procera’s Green Dot Gin, available in minuscule quantities at a store near you — or possibly not, given the minuscule quantities. This one was on video, shot by the ubiquitous Philip Duff, and I did NOT get paid for it, though I now have quite a bit of Procera at home (Philip did swipe my bottle of Blue Dot, so if you’re reading this, Procera people…). I showed it to my wife and she immediately made comments about the quality of said video — her number one complaint was that there was a broom behind me. We shot it in my dining room, you see, and in all transparency we’d had a couple of drinks by that point, so we were not paying attention to brooms. And you can see some of my very talented daughter’s artwork, so that’s a big plus. Find out all about Procera Green Dot on Instagram by clicking the link right -> HERE <-!
And if you’ve got a brand you want me to wax rhapsodic about, hey, reach out in the comments section. I’m starting to enjoy this.
