It’s not every week I get to drink with some of the brightest lights in the boozy world, or hang out with a pair of the distillers whose work I most admire (and they just did a collaboration! And it’s as good as I hoped it’d be!). And it’s not every week that a landmark book comes out featuring a tiny but visible and credited contribution from me. Aaaaand it’s not every week I get not one but two hangovers. I’m a fierce advocate for moderation… normally. But hey, when the time and the place and the people line up just so, occasionally you have to throw your liver (and gastrointestinal tract in general) under the bus. That just about nails it, am I right? She also came up with the new slogan which will replace the one you see above: “Making Pour Decisions.” Is that genius or what?
