Between editorial and branded content, I’ve been writing a lot about Lagavulin the last few months, and what’s wrong with that? It was the first single malt to capture my heart about a million years ago, and after standing relatively pat for decades with its range, it’s starting to add some terrific new expressions to the line. And hey, any excuse to write about the seminal Islay whisky is a good one, if you ask me.

The latest Lagavulin offering, courtesy of actor/legend Nick Offerman, is the most radical departure yet from the classic ‘Vulin style. Does it rock? Does it suck? Is it worth checking out? You’ll just have to find out, won’t you, by clicking the link right -> HERE <- and reading my review over at Alcohol Professor. And if for some reason you’re reading this and are not familiar with the greatness that is Lagavulin, get down to a bar or liquor store pronto, start with the 16 Year Old, and go from there. You won’t regret it.
