Whisquiris, Dole Whips, And A Whole Lot More Gin Than I Should've Had

The arguably-already-legendary Dole Whip at Lullaby

It was a big week in the life of my liver. Although it wasn’t really a week. First off, What’s Tony Drinking? is now biweekly, and there’s a lot more hooch going down my gullet than I can fit into one column that won’t make your eyes glaze over. And at this point, the events written about in WTD? take place over the span of closer to a month than a week, because I’m careless and forget to write about things when they happen. That said, there’s been a lot going on in my boozy corner of the world, not least of which was the opportunity to score some face time with one of my cocktail AND music heroes, the great Brother Cleve, at Lullaby, the new bar on the Lower East Side with which he’s affiliated. Cleve is a legend in the drinks world of Boston, so to have him with his own place in NYC is both weird and kind of feels like a coup. But he gets around, and I doubt New England will be Cleve-free for too long.

To read all about Lullaby, Brother Cleve, a mean man who got me way more intoxicated than anyone should be on a Saturday afternoon, and much more check out the latest What’s Tony Drinking? over at Alcohol Professor! You want the link, you say? I got your link right -> HERE. <-
